Back on Coruscant, Jedi Master Mateiko and Padawan Rayne were practicing their use of the force. The exercise was simple enough: you pass a ball back and forth in a circular motion. However, you don’t touch the ball with your hands and you cannot let the ball hit the ground. The exercise was going well until there was a knock on the door and Plo Koon entered.

“Master Mateiko,” He says, “The Council wishes for your presence.”

“Of course, Master.” She says.

Both Mateiko and Rayne make to follow Plo Koon.

“It is probably best, for Padawan Rayne stays here.” Plo Koon says.

“Of course.” Mateiko says.

Both Plo Koon and Mateiko leave Rayne alone. It was obvious what they were meeting with the council about. He waited a few seconds before heading off to follow them and maybe listen to the conversation.

The halls of the Jedi Temple were busy during the day with schools of younglings, Masters and their padawans, and Jedi Knights going about their business. It made the trek to the Council’s room difficult at times. Rayne wanted to run and not miss anything, but he couldn’t bring attention to himself. He manages to reach the lift to bring him to the council’s chambers and took it up. The hall before the chambers was empty. Rayne walked over to the grand doorway and places his ear on them. He couldn’t hear anything. He stopped to think about what else he can do. He suddenly got an idea and places his hand on the door and concentrated. He was trying to tune into the conversation by using the force. It took him a while, but it worked. Slowly, he began to hear the conversation on the other side.

The council was allowing Master Mateiko to sit in on the council’s meeting due to her connection with the case. She stood by the door and listened. Master Vrook was presenting his findings to the council through a hologram.

“We lucked out.” Vrook admitted, “They were expecting us to show and had managed to escape capture. All except the one that gave us the information we needed.”

“Find, what did you?” Yoda asks.

“A group from Muunilinst was developing the counterfeit credits to be filtered through to the economy of the Republic. Some of the members were thrown out of the Banking Clan for embezzlement and other crimes. The idea was to inflate the Republic Credit over time to the point of disaster. The group that we encountered is one of many. Thanks to this man’s information, we are now getting a broader picture of the operations.”

“And what of the assassin?” Master Plo Koon asks.

“His name is Raanta, and he’s a known killer on Tatooine.” Vrook explains, “Him and his crew managed to get away when we tried to apprehend them. However, the simple mind of their forgotten comrade told us that the plan was always to return to Coruscant. Their Captain said that to them and we have no reason that they will try to make their way back there to contact their employers and continue the operation.”

“They won’t get very far here.” Says Master Rancisis, “We’ll be ready for them when they arrive.”

“Agree with you, I do.” Yoda says, “Inform the Republic Senate, I must. Continue with your mission, Master Vrook. The Republic will send extra help, they will.”

He bows and the hologram cuts out.

“We need to inform the Senate about the Smugglers and have all of the docks watched for this ship.” Plo Koon says.

“Even if we could, they may use a private dock that is out of reach of the police.” Says Master Mundi.

“A large undertaking, this is.” Says Master Yoda, “If only Coruscant was more remote and smaller. Inform the police, we shall. Capture the criminals, we will.”

“Master, should I inform the boy about this?” asks Mateiko.

“No.” Yoda says, “The boy has been making progress with you, he will. Set him back this will.”

“Unless he finds out a different way.” Says Plo Koon slowly.

At that moment, Rayne gasps and backs away from the door. Did Master Plo Koon sense him. He wasn’t going to wait around and see. He made his way back to the lift and made his way down. Not a moment later, Master Mateiko and Plo Koon look out in the hall to see no one. They look at each other, before closing the door and returning to the council meeting.

Rayne made it back to the room him and Mateiko was practicing in. His mind was racing. He closes the blinds in the room and takes a seat on one of the chairs to begin to meditate. He wanted to concentrate on the details of the visions he had the night before. He knew that these were connected to the smuggler’s arrival on the planet. He wanted to find them, and avenge his master and take his lightsaber back.

He concentrated. The images came to him quickly. He wanted to see the platform they would be arriving at and the time of their arrival. What he saw was them arriving that night, on a platform similar to the one where him and his master were defeated. He saw the platform number and the surrounding buildings in details. He saw where he had to be if he wanted to catch them.

He opened his eyes. He needed to leave now if he wanted to get to them. He needed a weapon. His first thought was to go to Master Mateiko’s chambers to take her lightsaber. She never carried it on her and left it in her room. He didn’t know when the council meeting was going to end, so he needed to move now.

He navigated the halls of the temple until he was outside of Master Mateiko’s chambers. He waited for a group of Jedi to walk by, before he went in. The room was dark and neat. He didn’t have to look hard for her lightsaber, for it was sitting on a wooden stand in front of the drawn window. He looked at it and hesitated. It was a simple lightsaber with a hardly any added grip to it, which he though suited his master. He made up his mind and took it from its stand and placed it in his robes. He then quickly made it back to his quarters, grabbed his cloak, and left the temple.

An hour after his departure, Plo Koon and Mateiko head back to the room where Mateiko and Rayne were training in. She looks uneasy.

“What’s the matter, Mateiko?” Plo Koon asks.

“I have a bad feeling.” She admits, “Like something horrible is about to happen.”

“I have the same feeling, myself.” Plo Koon says, “I don’t like it. Especially after the news we just heard.”

They arrive at the room to find it empty. The blinds were still drawn.

“He’s been meditating.” Plo Koon says.

Mateiko says nothing, but turns and hurries to Rayne’s quarters. Plo Koon follows her. Seeing that he was not there made matters only worst.

“Do you think he was listening in on the Council’s meeting?” Mateiko asks Plo Koon.

“You and I both felt his energy.” He says.

“What if he has gone after the smugglers himself?” She says.

“How would he know where to go?” Plo Koon says, “And he’s unarmed, since you haven’t allowed him to build himself a new lightsaber.”

Something dawned on Mateiko. She ran down the hall leaving Plo Koon there to react and follow her. She makes it to her own quarters to find her lightsaber, that was ceremoniously on display, missing.

“He took it.” She says once Plo Koon arrives. “He took my lightsaber.”

There was a pause between them. Unsure what needed to be done, they both went to seek Yoda’s advice.

It took them a while to find him, for he was not in the Council’s chambers. He was found outside in the Temple’s garden, watching the world go by. He smiled as both Master Plo Koon and Mateiko approached. However, the friendly smile went away when they explained what had just taken place.

“To avenge his master, he has.” Yoda says, “To regain his lost honor, he has.”

“How would he know where to go?” Mateiko asks.

“An amazing teacher, you are, Master Mateiko.” Yoda says, “Allow him to use the force to open his mind, you have.”

“But for a padawan to have clear visions like that at his age.” Plo Koon says.

“Expected great things we have from Padawan Rayne. The force is especially strong with him, it is.” Yoda says, getting to his feet. “Come now. Find him we shall.”

Yoda led them to a meditation room for three and he invited them to sit and meditate with him.

“Use the force, we shall, to find the young one.” Yoda says, situating himself.

They all close their eyes and concentrate.

“Open your minds.” Yoda says softly, “Use the force to help guide us to the boy.”

“I see…” Ploo Koon begins, “I see the interior of the planet, where the day light never reaches.”

“Towards the planet’s core, he is.” Yoda says.

“The Platform,” Mateiko says, “It isn’t numbered. It’s a private dock. Near the shuttle to the surface.”

“That is where you need to go.” Yoda says, “The force has shown us where we must be to prevent a dark turn for our young padawan.”

“Do you see what is going to happen, Master?” Mateiko asks.

Yoda concentrates and shakes his head.

“Uncertain, the future is.” Yoda says, “Both good and bad can come out of this.”

“Thank you, Master.” Mateiko says.

She gets up and hurries out of the room.

“Go with her, Master Plo Koon.” Yoda requests, “You are the two that knows the boy best.”

“Yes, master.” Plo Koon says.

He gets up and walks out of the room, following Mateiko. Yoda, sighs and looks uneasy. What was going to happen to the boy was out of their control. Rayne was the only one that can control his destiny, but he hoped that they would get to him in time to help steer him in the right direction.

The sun on Coruscant had set already, but the lights of the city made everything look as bright as it would in the daytime. The surface of the planet bustled with people going about their lives. However, once you begin to go deep into the interior layers of the planet, this all disappears. The underworld of Coruscant is a dark and dangerous place. The rumor was, the farther down you go, the more trouble you would find. Most wouldn’t tempt fate by exploring the lower levels of the planet unless you really needed to. For young padawan Rayne, he had a mission. He kept his cloak up to avoid being noticed. Much like Master Vrook on Tatooine, the cloaks seem to mask the Jedi from questioning eyes. Rayne took the shuttle system down to the level he saw in his visions. He felt his heart beating when he saw the platform the smugglers would be landing on. The next step was to find the vantage point in his vision. He sets off, staying under his cloak, he begins to look around. It took a bit for him to find the exact location. He had to enter an abandoned building that hides the platform from the shuttle system. He was on the third floor of the building, on the terrace. It had thick concrete walls that hid him well from the platform below. Now all he had to do was wait for the criminals.

The hours tick by. Rayne was in a half awake, half asleep state, one that was taught to him by Master Hodduff for situations like these. It would pass the time, but would keep him alert for anything. He was awaken by the sound of a large engine coming down. He peers over the terrace wall to see the dirty red transport landing on the platform. He watches. The cabin of the transport opens and out jumps the criminal Rayne was looking for. He gives a look around the platform and ducks his head in to give the all clear. The other crewmen hop out and open the cargo doors. As they begin to unload, a door to the platform opens and out walks a Muun man in all black. Raanta approaches him and they begin to talk. The Muun man was not in a good mood and from what Rayne could tell, he didn’t want to talk to the killer. Raanta went to the ship and went inside. A few seconds later, the Captain emerges with Raanta, looking slightly annoyed. The Captain and the Muun man talk heatedly while Raanta supervises the men unloading of the cargo.

Rayne continues to watch. He needs to wait for the best time to go after the killer. He honestly couldn’t care less about the other smugglers. They would only get in his way. The Captain and the Muun walk off the platform followed by the men with the crates of counterfeit credits. The only person on the platform was Raanta. Rayne took a deep breath and acted on this opportunity. He went over his hiding place and landed softly on the platform. He walked out into the light and stood at the back of his master’s killer. He unhooks the lightsaber from his belt and held it out to his side. His heart was pounding. He was filling with rage with every heartbeat. He turns the lightsaber on. The sound was loud enough to get the attention of Raanta who slowly turns to see who was there. He looks at Rayne for a quick second. He then smiles and begins to cackle.

“And here I thought I killed you along with the other Jedi.” Raanta says, “Nice lightsaber, kid. Its going to match my collection well.”

Rayne wanted to say something, but couldn’t bring himself to say anything. His hands were trembling slightly as the rage soared through him. Raanta takes the lightsabers off of his belt and turns both on.

“I like your lightsaber, kid.” He says mockingly, “Its killed a lot of my enemies well.”

“YOU DISHONOR ME BY USING MY WEAPON!” Rayne shouts, “I’LL GET IT BACK IF IT’S THE LAST THING I DO!”

And with that, he charges at Raanta with a battle cry and heavily comes down on him with the blade. Raanta blocks the strike with both lightsabers. The height difference was incredible. Raanta had over a foot on Rayne, but the skill, even though Rayne was a Padawan, was in his favor. However, Rayne was never taught to fight dirty. Raanta would unleash viscous attacks on him with the lightsabers, but would use his legs to try to offset Rayne’s stance. Rayne was so blinded by his rage though that he wasn’t foreseeing a lot of these attacks. He was being dealt a lot of damage just from the Twi’lek’s kicks.  The battle between the two rage on, until Rayne completely loses his footing and hits the deck hard and loses his lightsaber. Raanta stands over him with both of his lightsabers at Rayne’s neck.

“You lose, kid.” Raanta says through heavy breath.

Someone was clapping on the other end of the platform. Both Raanta and Rayne look sideways to see who it was. It was the Captain of Raanta’s crew. The rest of the Crew and the Muun was standing behind the Captain watching. The Captain, though he was applauding, was not smiling.

“Well done, Raanta.” The Captain says, “You defeated another Jedi. Now without any more delay, kill him so we can dump the cargo and get out of here before more arrive.”

“Yes, sir.” Raanta says with a sinister look on his face.

Rayne’s mind was racing. He didn’t want to die. This wasn’t supposed to happen! He was angry at himself for failing again. He was angry that his master’s killer had won again. The murderer wasn’t supposed to be skilled with a lightsaber. He was no Jedi! He was filth and filth cannot disgrace the Jedi by using their weapons. His own weapon! His own weapon was going to kill him! The weapon that his master taught him how to build, that he built calluses on his hands with, the weapon that killed his master and so many other people.

Raanta was standing above him. He sheathed his Master’s lightsaber and held his own in front of him.

“Pitty.” Raanta says, “You had guts kid and I like that. But you essentially gave me three lightsabers to play with. Thanks a lot, kid.”

He raises the lightsaber above his head and brings it down hard towards Rayne.

The most peculiar thing happened. The lightsaber stopped inches away from Rayne’s head. With both hands outstretched, Rayne was using the force to hold back the attack. However, it wasn’t like anything he has done before. The power that he felt was different, unlike the force he had been so used to before.

Raanta was struggling with the lightsaber. He was putting all of his energy into bringing the blade down onto Rayne. However, even with his strength, the lightsaber was going up now. Rayne was getting to his feet, the rage he was feeling was giving him focus without concentration. Raanta was now holding onto the lightsaber above his head, a look of panic on his face.

“Help him! Shoot the Jedi!” The voice of the Captain shouts.

The crew takes out their blasters. Rayne, without thinking, moves his hand towards them and they all stop. They drop their weapons and begin to grab at something around their necks. They were struggling to breathe. He was not discriminating, for the Captain and the Muun was also suffocating.

Rayne slowly brought his hand up and levitated the crew, the Captain, and the Muun into the air. Raanta watches in horror as they begin to flail their legs, trying to grip the ground. Rayne was moving them closer to the ledge of the platform.

“Kid! Wait! Don’t do this!” Raanta begins to shout, “They did nothing to you! You want to kill me, right? So do that! Please! They’re my brothers! My family!”

                  Rayne looks at Raanta.

“You killed my only family.” Rayne says through gritted teeth.

With that, he launches the crew and everyone into the abyss, their screams trailing as they fell deep into the planet’s core. Raanta lets out a scream in agony as he watches his crew fall from sight. Rayne turns his attention to the ship and using the force, launches it over the side and down with the crew. Now the platform was clear and only Rayne and Raanta were there. Rayne moves the villain to the edge of the platform and drops him to the ground in a ball. Rayne catches his own lightsaber in his hand and points it at Raanta. Raanta looks at the point of the lightsaber with his hands up defensively.

“Please, kid!” He begs, “I thought the Jedi were merciful! Never looked for revenge! It was part of their code!”

“Don’t you dare preach to me about the Jedi code!” Rayne says through gritted teeth, “If you knew so much about it, why didn’t you live by it! My master would have been alive and none of this would have happened!”

“Please, kid! I’m sorry!” He says, “I’m so sorry! I’m just scum and if I could take it back, I would!”

“You’re not sorry yet!”

With a quick flick of his wrist, Rayne removes one of Raanta’s hands. He lets out a howl of pain as he grabs his forearm. Rayne uses the force to take the his master’s lightsaber off of Raanta’s belt and then uses the force to bring Raanta upright and rigid. Tears were running down his eyes now.

“Please, Kid.” He begs in the most gentle of voices he can muster, “Don’t do this.”

Rayne brings his lightsaber up and was prepared to strike.

“Padawan!” came a familiar voice.

Rayne whips around to see Master Plo Koon and Master Mateiko. There was no warmth or embarrassment in Rayne face when he looks at them. They, on the other hand, look nervous and horrified.

“Put him down, Rayne.” Mateiko says, “This is not the way of the Jedi.”

“He deserves what he gets!” Rayne shouts, “He killed people with my lightsaber! He Killed my master with my lightsaber!”

“We know he has!” She pleads with him, “But the path you’re heading down is not a good one. It only leads to more suffering.”

“Yeah, kid!” Raanta says, “Listen to her! Just listen to-“

Before he could finish, his head was pointing upwards and he was suffocating.

“Master Hodduff wouldn’t have wanted this to happen!” Plo Koon says, “He wouldn’t want you to avenge his death by going to such extreme measures.”

“Nobody knows what my Master would have wanted.” Rayne says, “He died before it was his time, because of this monster!”

“We are not denying the fact that he is nothing but filth! But there are ways, padawan!” Plo Koon pleads, “We can imprison him, put him on trial.”

“Then what?” Rayne snaps, “He sits in a jail cell and rots for the rest of his life? He’ll have his freedoms inside there, too! The ability to make the wrong choices, the ability to kill anyone he wants still! No. He dies here and now!”

“Please, Rayne!” Plo Koon shouts, “Listen to your Master! Listen to us!”

“MY MASTER IS DEAD!” He shouts, “SHE IS NOT MY MASTER!”

There is silence as the weight of his words hit them all.

“I understand, Rayne.” Mateiko says, “If you won’t listen to me as your master, then how about as a friend? As your sister, perhaps?”

Rayne says nothing, but looks at her in a way that was different than before. There was something calling out from his eyes asking them to stop him now. Mateiko has to choose her words carefully.

“When we first met, you were lost. I tried my best to help you cope and you and I grew close since then.” She says, “I know I’m not Master Hodduff, but I can help you just as much as he can. We can fix all of this. I promise you, I will not give up on you! Just as Master Hodduff hasn’t either. He’s still with you, Rayne. He’s apart of you and all of the Jedi. He is part of the Force and he knows what you are doing now. Just put the man down now so we can fix all of this.”

Rayne contemplates her words. Raanta gasps for breath behind Rayne and hits the deck coughing. Rayne looks defeated and hangs his head. Mateiko takes a couple of chosen steps towards Rayne as Plo Koon goes to retrieve Mateiko’s lightsaber.

“Thanks, kid.” Coughs Raanta.

Rayne turns and looks down on the murderer.

“I’m sure, your Master would have been proud.” Raanta says, not knowing they would be his last.

In quick succession, Rayne’s rage was reignited. Mateiko runs to try to stop him from killing Raanta. But in a turning, upward swing of his lightsaber, Rayne slices Raanta in half. His two halves falling off the platform and joining the rest of his crew in to dark abyss of the planet’s core.

There was silence now. Rayne looks down at the darkness. Mateiko and Plo Koon watch him. Then Rayne sniffs.

“I thought..” Rayne says.

“You thought what, padawan?” Mateiko slowly asks.

“I thought, by killing him.” Rayne says, “I would feel closure. I wouldn’t have to feel this pain.”

He turns to Mateiko, tears in his eyes.

“I reclaimed my lightsaber, but it doesn’t feel right in my hand anymore.” He says through his tears, “I avenged my Master and he’s still gone. I thought I would be happy with him dead, but I’m not!”

He drops his lightsaber and begins to cry hard. Mateiko embraces him and hold him close, allowing Rayne to cry into her. She’s has a look of concern on her face and she shares that look with Plo Koon, who had no words of comfort for either of them.

The Jedi Council was in a meeting in the dead of the night to discuss what has happened. Among them was Master Mateiko, who was still looking concerned. Rayne was placed in a lock holding cell in the Jedi Temple when they got back. They wanted him secured while they discuss what is to happen to him. Plo Koon informed the council about the details of the incident. The entire council was looking concerned and were deep in thought.

“Troubling, this has been.” Yoda finally says after a moment of silence.

“What are we to do with the boy?” Asks Master Mundi.

“The boy has taken his first steps on the path to the Dark Side.” Says Master Rancisis, “More like several strides down the path of the Dark side.”

“We can’t imprison the boy, can we?” Asks Master Plo Koon.

“That is the protocol, unfortunately.” Says Master Vrook through his hologram, “He has broken not only the laws of the Jedi but that of the Republic.”

“But he’s just a child, we can’t send him to a jail cell!” Says Mateiko, “If there is fault to be given, than the fault should be given to me! I should have taught him more about the Light and Dark side of the force.”

“Nothing more could have been do for the boy.” Yoda says somberly, “The path to the Dark side was set in motion long ago with the killing of Master Hodduff, it has.”

“It feels wrong to send the boy to a jail cell for the rest of his life.” Plo Koon says, “We can teach him how to find the path to the Light.”

“It won’t be any jail cell.” Vrook says, “There are special prisons built for those who are force sensitive. It sits in the outer rim and is a nasty fortress. We would never see him again. No one will.”

“We can’t do that to him.” Mateiko says, “Please, we cannot do this to him! There is light in him!”

“It’s too late for that.” Vrook says, “The Republic guards will take the boy at first light. There will be no trial. The Republic thinks it’s best to brush anything with a rogue Jedi under the carpet so the people of the Republic don’t lose faith in us.”

Mateiko doesn’t say anything to this. She closes her eyes tight and bows her head.

“Feel not of failure, Master Mateiko.” Yoda says, “Taught him well since taking on an apprentice, you have. His path was set in motion before you, it has. Be with your student now, while there is still time.”

She bows to Master Yoda and then leaves the room. She still looks uneasy and worried as she walks the empty and dark halls of the Jedi Temple. She was not sure what to tell her soon to be former student. There was a lot to say and so little time to say it.

She reaches the cells where Rayne was being held. However, there was a problem. He wasn’t there. Mateiko double checks the cells and then stops herself from going into a panic. She closes her eyes and listens to her instincts. She then starts to follow where her feet are taking her. She ends up at the Tower where the Jedi do their cremation ceremonies and finds Rayne looking at the horizon. She’s not surprised to find him here.

There was a cool calming breeze passing through the open air enclosure. The sky outside, still filled with the artificial lights of the city and traffic, was beginning to turn a purple color.

“The sun should be rising soon.” Says Rayne in a small voice.

“That it is.”Mateiko says.

“I’m guessing that this may be the last one I will ever see.” He admits.

She doesn’t say anything. There was nothing to say.

“Master.” He says turning to her, “I am so sorry for putting you through all of this. You didn’t fail me, but I ignored everything you taught me and did what I felt I needed to do.”

She still doesn’t say anything. She looks onto her student, impressed by his bravery in this moment. However, her heart was heavy for she knew these were their last moments together.

“Where did they bring my lightsaber?” He asks her, turning back to the sky.

“They archived it.” She says simply, “Along with Master Hodduff’s lightsaber.”

“Master Hodduff always said that the Jedi Lightsaber was the life of a Jedi.” He says, “He said it would bring great dishonor to the Jedi if I was to ever lose mine. And now it has.”

“No, Rayne.” Mateiko says, “We all know the feelings that have been through you. Your actions were against Jedi code, but the council is heartbroken over the fact that we cannot help turn your around and have you become a great Jedi.”

“That’s all I ever wanted to be.” He says softly, “A great Jedi. If my lightsaber wasn’t stolen…”

“It should have never been sought after.” She says, “Unfortunate things happen in this universe. It was the Force that shows us the right path in troubling times. The lesson it was trying to teach you was that there is life without a Lightsaber and that it shouldn’t define who you are.”

Rayne doesn’t turn to his Master, but listens to her intently as he watches the sunrise.

“I wish I had more time with you Rayne.” She admits, “You are a very talented Jedi. But, I am honored to have you as my student and I will always cherish the moments we were together.”

The sun finally breaks the horizon, painting the sky in brilliant shades of pinks and yellows. Rayne turns to his master with tears running down his face and weak smile.

“Thank you, Master.” He says, “For everything.”

There was a pause there. And then, without realizing it, but with a feeling she knew was coming, watch Rayne fall backwards over the wall and out of sight. She walks heavily to the wall to peer down, to see what has happened to her padawan. She turns away, whipping tears from her eyes and walks back down the tower to inform the Council of Rayne’s death.

The room of the younglings begins to become brighter as Yoda finishes his tail. He looks sadden and the Younglings were looking at him intently.

“So younglings,” Yoda says, “The lightsaber is a trusted ally of the Jedi. We consider them extensions of ourselves. But never, to be confused with the life of the Jedi. For the Jedi, the Force and path of the Good is our lives. Forget that, never you will.”

They nod their acceptance of the story. Qui-Gon clears his throat, bringing the Youngling’s attention to him.

“That’s enough for today’s lesson, younglings.” He says, “You may go.”

They all stand and bow to Qui-Gon and then to Yoda before filing out of the room.

“Never heard that story, have you?” Yoda asks.

“It wasn’t so long ago when that has happened, Master Yoda.” Qui-Gon says. “I was but a youngling myself when that unfolded. However, I never knew the details of the event.”

“A failure for the Jedi, it was.” Yoda says, “Teach the younglings to listen to the force and follow the Light side, our promise was from that day forward. The Lightsaber being the life, an ancient teaching, with consequences it is.”

“For you to say it is ancient, must be saying something for you, Master.” Qui-Gon jokes.

Yoda returns the statement with a smile.

“Come, Qui-Gon.” He beckons him, “Much to discuss with you, the council does.”

The two walk into the Bright halls of the Jedi Temple discussing the matters at hand.

just an original short i thought up with an inspiration from the Japanese movie "Stray Dog." Hope you enjoy!
